Based on the Fujikura Group Health Management Declaration announced in 2014, we actively support the "well-being"* of each Fujikura employee, a state of good physical, mental and social well-being, and aim to be a corporate group that can realize sustainable happiness for the entire organization, Fujikura employee' families, customers, and society.

Health and Productivity Management Initiatives
Understanding employee health risks and improving health literacy
In order to understand the health status of employees, we aim to maintain a 100% health checkup attendance rate, 100% health consultation by industrial health staff and attendance rate at medical institutions for employees who require detailed examinations or medical treatment during health checkups, and a stress check attendance rate of 95% or more. By introducing a health management system, we aim to centralize data and "visualize health risk issues," and we are working to effectively support further improvement of employee health literacy through high-risk and population approaches.
Mental Health Check
In organization with 10 or more employees, we conduct group analysis of stress checks and aim to improve the work environment by implementing manager education, etc. We also focus on creating an environment and system where employees can easily seek advice, utilizing EAP (external advice desk) that family members can also use, creating and operating programs to support returning to work, and training (face-to-face, web seminars, e-learning).
Promoting health management
Through collaborative health with the Fujikura Health Insurance Association, we provide health checkups for employees and their spouses, including screening for the five major cancers and other non-statutory health checkup items. Spouses are also examined at business facilities, providing an opportunity for them to see business where employees work. We also focus on specific health guidance by business-house industrial health staff, and we respond flexibly to changes in employee work styles by conducting interviews using ICT.
In addition, we recommend a health promotion app operated by the Fujikura Health Insurance Association, and support the self-care of employees and their families by utilizing the health management functions, such as daily step counts and weight, and by participating in various events (step counts and lifestyle improvement).
Creating a pleasant working environment
We evaluate work engagement and presenteeism over time and implement measures accordingly. We aim to foster a safe and comfortable corporate culture and build systems by holding seminars on women's health issues and work styles, and providing support for those who have illnesses or disabilities while working (balance support).
