High-temperature superconducting wires are products that realize next-generation high-temperature superconducting devices without liquid helium, and are expected to be applied and deployed in the energy sector, medical, analytical, and industrial equipment. Fujikura is actively working on the development and mass production technology of high-temperature superconducting wires, achieving world-class performance. Recently, to achieve carbon neutrality, the development of fusion energy (fusion energy power generation) using high-temperature superconducting wires has been actively promoted, especially in Europe and the United States. Fujikura products have received high praise from customers, and we will continue to advance efforts toward longer and lower costs of high-temperature superconducting wires, while also focusing on application development and technological development toward realizing a carbon-neutral society.
