Copper clad aluminum wire (hereinafter called CAW) is produced by mechanically cladding rod of aluminum with copper tape.

Features
- The weight is approximately 39% comparing to copper (15%CAW).
- Cheaper cost:
The length of same weight is 2.5 times comparing to copper. - Solderable
- Good reliability of connection
No increasing resistance because of no aluminum oxide film.
Connection method is same as copper wire.
