(President & CEO: Masahiko Ito) is proud to announce the latest evolution in the development of the single fusion splicer with the launch of the 41S+. The 41S+ is now equipped with "ACTIVE FUSION CONTROL TECHNOLOGY" to maintain consistent low loss splicing results. The technology incorporates the following features: ・ Optimized fusion control applied before fusion splicing based on analysis of fiber cleaved end face condition. ・ Real-time optical fiber brightness intensity analysis and control during fusion splicing. In addition, 41S+ incorporates "ACTIVE BLADE MANAGEMENT TECHNOLOGY" which manages the condition of the optical fiber cleaver blade by wireless communication between the splicer and cleaver. These two technologies, “ACTIVE FUSION CONTROL TECHNOLOGY“ and "ACTIVE BLADE MANAGEMENT TECHNOLOGY", allow customers to achieve more stable low-loss splicing, reducing the need for rework and re-splicing.
