Process to deciding on the Editorial Policy

The Fujikura Group began deliberating the creation of the new report by collecting information about the issues identified in the publication of the previous report, opinions of third-party experts, comments by stakeholders, and trends in the related guidelines. Subsequently, discussions were made at the meetings of the in-house editors, CSR experts and the CSR Committee composed of executives (Management Committee) to decide on the editorial policy for the new report. It took about six months for us to complete the process from information collection to deciding on the editorial policy.

CSR Integrated Report

The Fujikura Group has been disclosing information to stakeholders on various occasions and through a range of media and tools. Following the publication of the first version of the International Integrated Reporting Framework as the guidelines on a new information disclosure method called "integrated reporting," we have decided to create a report in line with this Framework. Accordingly, in the CSR Integrated Report we disclose, in an easily understood manner, both financial information and nonfinancial information, including the information about the activities we are conducting to make the creation of a sustainable society compatible with the achievement of sustainable growth as a company. In line with the Integrated Reporting Framework, the Fujikura Group will continue to clearly report its measures and perspectives for continuous corporate development, as well as the activities it is conducting toward the creation of a sustainable society.
