Case study (Joining of dissimilar materials by welding)

フジクラでは、FPC（Flexible Printed Circuits）の銅箔とアルミ材を直接溶接する異種材料接合技術を開発しました。一般的に銅とアルミの溶接では、その接合部に脆い金属間化合物が形成されるため接合強度が低下し、適用は難しいと言われています。この問題を解決するため、ファイバレーザを使用し、独自の溶接工法を用いることで、金属間化合物の生成を抑えた接合を可能にしました。この異種材料接合技術により、FPCの補強板として一般的に使用されているアルミ補強板を電流路として用いた大電流アプリケーション等への適用を目指しています。
