Support for Victims of the August 2026 Heavy Rains in Chiba Prefecture
We offer our deepest condolences to those who lost their lives in the heavy rains that struck Chiba Prefecture in August 2026, as well as in other heavy rain disasters in the neighboring area, and extend our heartfelt sympathies to everyone affected.
Fujikura Ltd. (Director, President and CEO: Naoki Okada) will donate a total of 20 million yen through the Japanese Red Cross Society to support those affected by the heavy rains in Chiba Prefecture in August 2026 and to assist in the recovery and reconstruction of the affected areas.
Fujikura operates production facilities in Chiba Prefecture and conducts its business with the support of the local community. In the hope of supporting affected communities and helping residents rebuild their lives, we have decided to provide this assistance to contribute to the region's recovery and reconstruction.
We sincerely hope for the safety and well-being of everyone affected and for the swift recovery and reconstruction of the impacted communities.
