Fujikura Ltd. (Director, President and CEO: Naoki Okada) will provide a venue for the "Bon Odori Festival" hosted by the local community association, Kiba 1st & 6th Neighborhood Association (Chairman: Takao Nakajima), located in the area where its headquarters are located, as part of its efforts to support local interaction and vibrancy.
The event will take place over two days, July 18th (Saturday) and 19th (Sunday), at the Center Plaza of "Fukagawa Gatharia" (1-chome, Kiba, Koto-ku, Tokyo), which is owned and managed by Fujikura.
The Kiba 1st and 6th Neighborhood Association's Bon Odori Festival, held at Fukagawa Gatharia, is a community-based summer event that has been held since 2003. It has now grown into the largest Bon Odori festival in Koto Ward organized by a neighborhood association, and has become an important place for community interaction, bringing together many people from children to adults.
This year, the organizers estimate that the event will attract approximately 15,000 people in total.

Statement by Takao Nakajima, chairman of the Kiba 1st and 6th Neighborhood Association, which is organizing the "Bon Odori Festival"
"We are very pleased that we can hold the Kiba 1st and 6th Neighborhood Association's Bon Odori Festival again this year, and we would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone involved."
This festival is a traditional downtown Bon Odori dance, independently run by the neighborhood association, and is an important event for fostering connections within the community. This year, we are planning taiko drumming performances by neighborhood association members, as well as food stalls selling yakisoba, shaved ice, and other treats.
We have received many expressions of anticipation from local residents, and we expect a large number of visitors this time as well.
This year, we will once again take every precaution to ensure everyone's safety and enjoyment. We look forward to seeing you at the venue!
