"Fujikura Gakuen Products Sale" was held at Kiba Head Office
~The origins of Fujikura Group social contribution activities, continuing for over 100 years~
Fujikura Ltd. (Director, President and CEO: Naoki Okada) held the "Fujikura Gakuen Product Spot Sale" for Fujikura employee and others at the Kiba head office for two days on December 18th and 19th.
This product sale event is held twice a year in June and December every year as part of Fujikura Group 's CSR activities.
Fujikura Gakuen is a facility for intellectual handicapped person founded in 1919 by Haruyoshi Nakauchi, the younger brother of the founder, Zenpachi Fujikura, with his own money, and is the origin of Fujikura Group 's social contribution activities.
Oshima Fujikura Gakuen in Oshima Town, Tokyo, conducts vocational training at Fuji Cafe, a business for daily care for residents, with the aim of achieving financial independence, and Fujikura continues to support residents' financial independence by holding regular spot sales of sweets provided at Fuji Cafe.
At this spot sale, 10 young Fujikura employee cooperated to sales tomorrow's leaves, blue corn pound cake, and assorted cookies using the island's specialties.
The venue was crowded with many Fujikura employee and sold out in about 20 minutes on both days. In addition, many Fujikura employee cooperated in the fundraising activities for the academy that were carried out at the same time.
Fujikura employee who participated in the spot sale said, "It's good that you can be involved in social contribution activities by participating in the spot sale," and Fujikura employee who purchased the product also said, "I would be happy if I could help Fujikura Gakuen by purchasing sweets."
