Fujikura News September issue (No. 506) published

Fujikura News is a bimonthly newsletter published by Fujikura Group. It introduces the Group's products and technological developments, cutting-edge research results, and various activities of each group company. With the "Fujikura, a technology leader" brand, which is the DNA of Fujikura Group, we continue to work toward achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through our "Tsunagu" Technology™.

In the September 2025 issue (No. 506) published on September 10th,
- The world's highest Fiber Optic Cable for hyperscale data center, "13,824-fiber SWRTM/WTCTM", which achieves twice the fiber count of conventional cables while keeping the outer diameter to 40 mm or less, sales Launch.
- The introduce of automatic DC leakage current measuring device jointly developed by Fujikura Dia Cable, and two companies. This device enables optimal maintenance by quickly and accurately determining the insulation condition of 6kV-class CV cables, contributing to a stable power supply.
- Capable of handling large heat dissipation up to 600W, the vapor chamber heat spreader achieves approximately 13% lower thermal resistance compared to conventional copper spreaders. The vapor chamber heat spreader can efficiently diffuse large amounts of heat over a wide area in a short time, significantly reducing the thermal resistance of the chip unit.
- Development of the "FFMS1" one-touch locking FPC connector with a "one-action" locking mechanism that is compatible with a wide range of applications, including internal wiring in automobiles, communication equipment, and industrial equipment.
We are covering the following topics.
