Background of the new factory construction
In recent years, data traffic has increased rapidly due to the advancement of generative AI, and the demand for high-volume, high-speed, and low-latency communications is growing. The development of optical fiber broadband and data center is increasing in many countries, and this demand is expected to continue in the future.
In order to meet increasing demand, we have been constructing a new SWR ™ factory to strengthen the production capacity of Optcal Fiber cables SWR ™ / WTC™ at our Sakura Work.
The new factory has now begun operations, with an opening ceremony held on February 17th.
