Fujikura Ltd. (Director, President and CEO: Okada Naoki) will be exhibiting at CEATEC 2024, which will be held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture from October 15 to 18, 2024, under the theme of "Achieving an advanced digitalized society and carbon neutrality with "Tsunagu" Technology™."
At CEATEC 2024, we will be showcasing where and how our products are used, and how they contribute to solving social issues and transforming industrial and social structures from the perspectives of information transmission and data center (information infrastructure/information storage), mobility (information terminals), GX, and AI.

SWR® / WTC®
  • High-density mounting of Optcal Fiber has enabled an increase in transmission capacity.
  • The smaller diameter and improved air pumping characteristics allow for laying in narrow pipes. (AB-WTC™)
  • SWR ® /WTC ® reduces the environmental impact by reducing the amount of materials used and the energy required for laying.
Multicore Fiber (MCF) Optical Cable
  • A single Optcal Fiber performs the functions of multiple optical fibers.
  • When combined with SWR ® /WTC ® , even greater ultra-high density and increased transmission capacity is possible.
  • At the venue, we will exhibit 4-core fiber and 32-core fiber that pursues higher density.
60GHz band millimeter wave communication module
  • We will exhibit high-speed, large-capacity, ultra-low latency transmission equipment that uses the license-free 60 GHz band.
  • At the venue, you will be able to experience ultra-low latency through a demonstration simulating remote control of construction machinery at a construction site.
High Performance Heat Pipes for data center
  • Heat pipes are "thermal superconductors" that remove heat from the CPU by changing the gas-liquid phase of a working solution.
  • At the venue, we will be exhibiting high-performance heat pipes that can handle large amounts of heat.
In-vehicle optical harness
  • In-vehicle communications will be replaced with high-speed, large-capacity optical communications of over 10 gigabits/s.
  • Optical wiring is not affected by electromagnetic noise, which helps reduce the weight of the vehicle body.
3D Wiring Touch Switch with Piezo Sensor
  • Wiring formed by printing does not waste material, and can be made to complex shapes through post-processing.
  • We will exhibit 3D processed wiring using elastic wiring.
High-Temperature Superconducting Wire
  • An incredibly large current is passed through the thin superconducting layer.
  • The strong magnetic fields created by high-temperature superconductivity are a key technology for realizing nuclear fusion power generation that does not emit CO2.
  • At the venue, a levitation demonstration will be held that embodies the Meissner effect, which is unique to superconductivity.
Liquid-cooled fast charging cable connector
  • High-output rapid charging is possible in accordance with CHAdeMO2.0.
  • Combined with clean electricity, it will contribute to the realization of a mobility society with zero CO2 emissions.
  • At the venue, we will prepare liquid-cooled and non-liquid-cooled components with the same kW and ask you to compare their weight.
AI technology reduces lens alignment time
  • Deep reinforcement learning/Sim2Real technology has been application to lens alignment, which requires highly complex control to simultaneously align multiple axes.
  • AI technology will advance manufacturing innovation and contribute to strengthening Monodukuri capabilities.
