Mass production of the compact pressure sensor "AT7 Series" begins
April 22, 2024
Fujikura Ltd.
Fujikura Ltd. (Director, President and CEO: Okada Naoki) will begin mass production of the world's smallest class high-precision gauge pressure sensor, the AT7 Series, in May.
The new "AT7 Series" has a smaller package size of 4mm x 4mm and uses an original inwardly bent lead. This has enabled us to reduce the mounting area on the board by 72% compared to the "AG Series," which was our previous smallest pressure sensor.

- ・In addition to the package size of 4mm x 4mm, the adoption of inward bent leads has made it even smaller.
- ・72% reduction in floor space required compared to our previous smallest product, the AG Series
- ・Small size yet application to a wide range of applications
- - High resolution and high speed sampling
The "AT7 Series," for which mass production is now underway, is compatible with a wide pressure range of 25 kPa to 1000 kPa, and has strong point / feature of being able to output pressure signals to a microprocessor at high speed via digital output (I 2 C) *1.
This enables the development of highly reliable, compact applications that can accurately detect pressure changes.
In addition, since there is no need to convert analog signals into digital signals, it also contributes to reducing application development and production costs.
In recent years, pressure sensors are increasingly being installed in a variety of devices.
Despite its small size, the AT7 series provides highly reliable pressure accuracy over a wide temperature range, making it application for a variety of applications, including products targeted at general consumers, medical equipment, and industrial equipment.
We will continue to utilize our unique technologies, such as the miniaturization of high-performance pressure sensors, to contribute to the development of attractive applications, while also contributing to the reduction of CO2 emissions and packaging materials by making products equipped with pressure sensors more compact and lightweight.
