In the March 2024 issue (No. 496) published on March 11,
- A dedicated Optical Fiber cutter has been added to the FAST optical connector,® which can be Optical Fiber attached in field work. Introduction of the "Fail-Safe Cutter" that uses a granulating blade to improve quality and workability during fiber cutting
・In a demonstration of construction equipment held at the "Remote Construction Demonstration" hosted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, Fujikura 60 GHz band millimeter-wave wireless communication module was used to demonstrate its effectiveness as a wireless backhaul for a local 5G communication system.
・Joint demonstration experiment of low-latency, high-capacity video transmission by combining an all-photonics network and millimeter-wave technology conducted with the participation of NTT Japan East's "IOWN Lab"
・Developed a new stacked cold plate that efficiently cools next-generation CPUs and GPUs and contributes to solving the heat generation issues of high-performance computing (HPC) and hyperscale data center (HSDC)
・Fujikura Diamond Cable has commercialized a water-resistant high-voltage fire-resistant cable that is resistant to water and various environments and has excellent fire resistance performance
