This is a system in which the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare certifies small and medium-sized business who are excellent in their efforts to promote employment of handicapped person and stabilize their employment. The efforts of certified business are made public as role models for the employment of handicapped person in the local area, with the aim of promoting efforts to employ handicapped person among all small and medium-sized business.

[Fujikura Cube Initiatives]
Creating a system
・In addition to announcing policy on the employment of handicapped person both inside and outside the company, we have formulated the Fujikura Cube "Mid-term Plan 2025." The president has explained the plan to all Fujikura employee, and is promoting the active participation of Fujikura employee.
All staff members take the "Disability Occupational Life Counselor Certification Course" to deepen their knowledge about working for handicapped person in companies.
・We have also been recognized by external parties as an excellent company for employing handicapped person.
October 2020: Awarded "Friendly Office Full of Smiles" by Chiba Prefecture
December 2021: Certified as "Sakura Universal Company" by Sakura City, Chiba Prefecture
Creating an environment
・Handrails are installed at entrances and on stairs to make it easier for people with lower limb disabilities to move around. In addition, heatstroke sensors are used to monitor and manage outdoor work in midsummer.
・Our work rules provide for leave for medical treatment that can be used by all employees.
・We have a system for becoming Fujikura employee (converting to an indefinite-term employment contract), which helps to motivate Fujikura employee.
