Fujikura Ltd. (Director, President and CEO: Okada Naoki), together with Fujikura Europe Ltd., a local subsidiary that sales our products in the UK, filed a lawsuit against Sterlite Technologies (headquartered in India) in the High Court of England and Wales on October 23rd local time. The lawsuit seeks an injunction against the sale of high-density, multi-core Optcal Fiber cables sold by Sterlite Technologies in the UK, alleging that the high-density, multi-core optical fiber cables sales by Sterlite Technologies in the UK infringe our sales Patent No. 3796060, which relates to the high-density, multi-core Optcal Fiber cable SWR®/WTC® developed by Fujikura.
