Fujikura Ltd. (Director, President and CEO Okada Naoki) has received certification from the international initiative "Science Based Targets (SBT)" for the Fujikura Group's greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets.

To achieve carbon neutrality, Fujikura Group has establishment the "Long-term Environmental Vision 2050," and has set a goal of reducing total CO2 emissions from factories to zero by 2050. To achieve this goal, we have established a roadmap for reducing CO2 emissions and are promoting specific measures such as improving production efficiency and utilizing renewable energy.
