It introduces the Group's products and technological developments, cutting-edge research results, and various activities of each group company. In the May 2023 issue (No. 490) published on May 15, product development-related articles include:
・Introduction of "RIO (Robust Indoor/Outdoor) SWR®/WTC® Optcal Fiber Optcal Fiber Cable," an indoor/outdoor SWR®/WTC® optical fiber cable that has excellent flame retardancy and low smoke generation while also being strong enough to withstand pneumatic installation.
Developed a high-sensitivity 60GHz millimeter-wave wireless communication module that achieves long-distance transmission performance of the kilometer level, obtained an experimental test station license, and began various communications experiments in the field.
・Present a millimeter wave wireless communication measurement system and exhibit a 28 GHz phased array antenna module at the International Microwave Symposium 2023 (IMS), a wireless communication experts' conference to be held in San Diego from June 11 to 16
・Fujikura Dia Cable and Nishinippon Electric Wire will exhibit at JECA FAIR 2023 (71st Electrical Construction Industry Exhibition) to be held at INTEX Osaka from May 24th to 26th
・Introduction of the DHB series of board-to-board connectors that can handle connections with various board distances and a variety of board layouts
