Fujikura News July Issue (No. 484) Published

"Fujikura News" is a "Tsunagu" newsletter that covers Fujikura Group 's product and technological developments and advanced research results, as well as various activities of group companies, with a focus on "connecting" technologies, with the aim of solving social issues defined in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

In the July 2022 issue (No. 484) published on July 11, product-related topics include the start of the provision of evaluation samples of the 28 GHz millimeter-wave phased array antenna module (PAAM) "FutureAccess™" for 5G base business, which achieves the highest level of performance amid a high demand for the highest performance millimeter-wave components, mainly from base station manufacturers and telecommunications carriers. We also introduce the industry's smallest FPC connector (FFA1W series) developed to meet the needs of smaller and thinner mobile devices. In addition, the article covers the development of a heat pipe module for cooling in-vehicle power electronics in response to the increasing heat generation due to improved driving performance, increased driving range, and demand for fast charging of electric vehicles.
