Fujikura Ltd.
Fujikura Ltd. (Director, President and CEO Okada Naoki) is pleased to announce that the company has been selected as a constituent of the FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index, an investment index newly adopted by GPIF (Government Pension Investment Fund) as an ESG (Environmental, Social and governance) investment standard.

The FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index, created by global index provider FTSE Russell, is a sector-neutral index that reflects the performance of Japanese companies with relatively excellent environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance in each sector. In order to promote the transition to a low-carbon economy, the index only includes companies that are evaluated for their efforts to improve their management quality scores based on the Transition Pathway Initiative (TPI) management score, especially for companies with high greenhouse gas emissions.
In addition to being selected for this index, Eisai has also been selected as a constituent stock of the FTSE4Good Index Series, a global ESG investment index, as well as the FTSE Blossom Japan Index, which has been adopted by GPIF as an ESG index, the MSCI Japan Empowering Women Index (nicknamed WIN), and the S&P/JPX Carbon Efficient Index.
Fujikura Group will continue to create value for customer and contribute to society through its "Tsunagu" technologies, and will continue to work to resolve various issues toward a comfortable and sustainable "future" society.
