1. Strengthening the foundation for health management
In order to create a workplace where Fujikura employee can work healthily and with peace of mind, and to support diverse working styles, we are implementing measures such as establishing various health-related regulation, measures to prevent excessive work, creating an environment where employees can seek advice when they are troubled, supporting employees' return to work, supporting the balance between treatment and work, and expanding various educational training programs including self-care and line care.

2. Promoting Fujikura employee health
As part of our efforts to improve Fujikura employee health awareness and prevent disease, we conduct self-care training and distribute videos of lectures by industrial physicians. We also implement various measures such as promoting collaborative health with the health insurance association, holding Fujikura stretching exercises every day after lunch, holding step-counting events throughout the year, and providing healthy menus in Fujikura employee cafeterias and bento lunches.

3. Measures to prevent passive smoking
From the perspective of maintaining and improving the health of Fujikura employee and fulfilling our social responsibility to protect the environment, we have established policy to prevent passive smoking and are working towards achieving a total ban on smoking on company premises by the end of fiscal year 2023. Specifically, we are working towards the complete elimination of smoking areas, and are implementing measures such as gradually closing smoking areas on premises and imposing rules on time restrictions for their use. We also hold smoking cessation seminars for smokers and introduce online smoking cessation clinics subsidized by health insurance. As the number of smokers in the head office area has been steadily decreasing, it has been confirmed that the entire premises will be smoke-free from October 1, 2022.

These efforts have been recognized, and we were recognized as a Health and Productivity Management Excellent Corporation for the second year in a row.
