Fujikura Ltd. (Director, President and CEO Masahiko Ito) and Fujikura Group aim to achieve both a sustainable society and continuous corporate development through corporate activities that are "friendly to people and the global environment." We also consider respecting and valuing the culture and customs of local communities to be an important part of a company's corporate social responsibility (CSR).

With this in mind, we support the aims of the Koto Cinema Festival, which is held annually in the Fukagawa district of Koto Ward, where our head office is located, and have been a continuous sponsor of the festival since the first one in 2007. This year marks the 15th anniversary of the festival, which is scheduled to take place on December 12th, the birthday and death anniversary of world-famous film director Yasujiro Ozu, and we will continue to sponsor the festival this year.

We will continue to cooperate so that the Koto Cinema Festival will continue to flourish, so that Fukagawa, the birthplace of the master director Yasujiro Ozu, will foster a new culture as "Fukagawa, the city of film," attract more people, and through this interaction, the culture of the local community will become even richer.
