Fujikura News November Issue (No. 480) Published

"Fujikura News" is a "Tsunagu" newsletter that covers Fujikura Group 's product and technological developments and advanced research results, as well as various activities of group companies, with a focus on "connecting" technologies, with the aim of solving social issues defined in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The November 2021 issue (No. 480), published on November 10, covers product-related topics including our sensor products, which have been contributing to the medical field for more than 40 years since production began, the development of the industry's smallest FPC connector to meet the growing need for further miniaturization of connectors for wearable and portable devices as they become smaller and thinner, and the WTC optical cable ring system with multi-core waterproof connector that combines our latest optical technology, a low-loss multi-core connector, with SWR /WTC Ⓡ, which has been adopted in Chubu Electric Power Grid Co., Ltd.'s optical network.
The article also covers the partial discharge testing contract service that Fujikura Dia Cable has launched, utilizing its many years of experience and knowledge in measuring electric motors, power semiconductors, etc.
In addition, we are pleased to announce that our various thin-diameter, high-density slotless Optcal Fiber cables have been added to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's New Information Technology Provision System (NETIS), and that we will be exhibiting at the 2021 BICSI JAPAN District Conference & Exhibition, which will be held online from November 25th to 26th.
