"Fujikura News" is a "Tsunagu" newsletter that covers Fujikura Group 's product and technological developments and advanced research results, as well as various activities of group companies, with a focus on "connecting" technologies, with the aim of solving social issues defined in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The September 2021 issue (No. 478), published on September 13, covers product-related topics including the start of offering evaluation samples of a maintenance-free power supply for IoT devices that utilizes dye-sensitized solar cells developed by our company, the development of a digital pressure sensor that strong point / feature high resolution and low noise making it suitable for use in a variety of applications including medical equipment, and the development of a compact BNC connector that is even smaller, higher density, and easier to attach and detach than the BNC connectors that are widely used in video equipment, communications equipment, and measuring equipment.
The article also covers a new low-voltage fire-resistant cable developed by Fujikura Dia Cable in response to increased requirements for disaster prevention equipment in buildings (ensuring time for evacuation guidance), which has fire resistance more than twice that of current products.
