Fujikura Ltd.
"Fujikura News" is a "Tsunagu" newsletter that covers Fujikura Group 's product and technological developments and advanced research results, as well as various activities of group companies, with a focus on "connecting" technologies, with the aim of solving social issues defined in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
In the September 2021 issue (No. 478) published on September 13, product-related topics include: Fujikura Started providing evaluation samples of maintenance-free power supplies for IoT devices using dye-sensitized solar cells developed, and developed a digital pressure sensor with high resolution and low noise strong point / feature suitable for use in various applications such as medical equipment. The report also discusses the development of miniaturized BNC connectors, which are widely used in video, communication, and measurement equipment, with smaller sizes, higher density, and easier to attach and detach.
In addition, Fujikura Diamond Cable has newly developed a low-voltage fire-resistant cable that has more than twice the fire-resistant performance of the current product, which was newly developed in response to the increasing performance required for disaster prevention equipment in buildings (securing evacuation guidance time).
In addition, Japan Telegraph and Telephone Corporation received a certificate of appreciation from Fujikura for its contribution through the development of MPO connectors related to the development of "Optical Fiber connectors with physical contact connections using a push-pull fastening method," which has been certified as an IEEE milestone.
