Fujikura News is a bimonthly newsletter that covers Fujikura Group 's product and technological developments and advanced research results, as well as various activities of group companies, with a focus on "Tsunagu" technologies, with the aim of solving social issues defined in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The July 2021 issue (No. 477), published on July 9, covers product-related topics including the expansion of our product lineup of Air Blown Wrapping Tube Cable™, a proprietary air-blown, small-diameter, high-density Optcal Fiber Optcal Fiber that is compatible with the air-blown method, which is widely used as an optical cable laying method in Western countries where the development and construction of high Lineup (名) capacity Optcal Fiber networks is becoming more active, as well as the launch sales of new fusion splicers and Optcal Fiber cutters that will contribute to the smooth progress of optical fiber installation work, which is increasing in line with the development and construction of optical fiber networks.
In addition, we are pleased to announce that we received the 2020 Japan Society of Heat Transfer Technology Award in recognition of our contributions to the development of heat transfer technology, as well as the commercialization of a thin cooling unit (thin heat pipe/vapor chamber) for electronic devices, etc., which was developed by making full use of our advanced heat transfer technology. We are also pleased to announce that we received the Excellence Award at the 2020 Environmental Human Resource Development Company Awards in recognition of our wide-ranging initiatives, including our environmentally conscious production activities and Fujikura employee education, as well as our initiatives that consider biodiversity.
