Masanori Daibo, business Manager of the Superconductivity business Division, will appear on TV Tokyo's economic talk show "Round Table Confidential ~Encounters with Other Companies~".
This episode's theme is fusion energy, a next-generation energy generation technology that is attracting global attention. The program will feature Fujikura's high-temperature superconducting wires as one of the essential technologies for realizing fusion energy.
Superconductivity is a phenomenon in which electrical resistance becomes zero below a certain temperature. Fujikura's high-temperature superconducting wires have strong point / feature of being able to maintain a superconducting state even in high magnetic fields, and are expected to be used in the future as an important material supporting fusion energy reactors.
