The Fujikura Group strives to maintain and develop sound relationships with all stakeholders through extensive communication. The Fujikura Group's CSR Activity Guidelines stipulate that the Group will The six stakeholders with whom we have a particularly close relationship in the course of our business activities are customers, employees (including their families), investors and shareholders, business partners, local communities, and the environment and government. The relevant departments serve as contact points for major stakeholders involved in our business activities and engage in a variety of communications to deepen mutual understanding, leading to the sustainable development of society and the growth of our company.

Constructive dialogue with Shareholders and Investors

Fujikura promotes initiatives by which the President and senior management can engage in dialogue with shareholders and investors as a means to achieve sustainable growth and increase corporate value over the mid to long-term.
Fujikura places a director in charge of handling constructive dialogue to ensure the effectiveness of dialogue and information disclosure, under whom the IR Group of the Corporate Strategy Planning Division is set up and that cooperates with related departments to conduct a timely, fair, and adequate disclosure of information. The President and director in charge of investor relations adequately provide feedback on the results of interviews with the aforementioned shareholders and investors to directors.
For the purpose of preventing the leakage of financial information and ensuring fairness, Fujikura has established a quiet period. During this quiet period, Fujikura does not make any comments about its financial information neither responds to questions about this information. In addition, pursuant to its internal information management rules, Fujikura endeavors to prevent the leakage or proliferation of important information, and to prevent insider trading.

Information Disclosure for Investors

In particular, we are making efforts to ensure speedy information disclosure via the Tokyo Stock Exchange and through our own press conferences. In our IR web pages, we post our schedule for quarterly information disclosure, data on quarterly performance results, and information on the Mid-Term Business Plan, new business projects, R&D results, the launch of new subsidiaries, and others both in Japanese and English.

Activities for Institutional Investors

In IR activities, domestically, we explained quarterly accounts for institutional investors and securities analysts, and top management explained directly to the results at the settlement accounts briefing session during the interim period and the fiscal year, and in Q&A also corresponded. In addition, we also explain the medium term business plan for sustainable development in the future once a year.
The President and director in charge of investor relations directly visit institutional investors in Europe, North America, and Asia to provide a rundown of business operations, give briefings on earnings performance, and present an explanation of the Mid-term Business Plan. In addition, extensive dialogue is carried out through pertinent visits with investors allowing opportunities to exchange opinions on matters such as the agenda of the General Meeting of Shareholders, the corporate governance structure, and ESG.

Activities for Individual Investors

For general shareholders and individual investors, we provide information on a timely basis at the WEB site on the Internet, and the IR group acts as a contact point for inquiries about business results.

Seminar on Biotopes

Fujikura regularly holds various events such as environmental education activities at "Fujikura-Kiba Millennium Woods" and illumination of the Garden Court, and values active communication with the local community.
