Management Philosophy
Basic Concept
Fujikura classifies the risks it needs to manage into risks related to business opportunities (strategy risks) and risks related to the execution of business activities (operational risks). Strategy risks are managed by the consensus of top management, including Board of Directors' Meeting and Executive Management Council, while operational risks are managed by the risk management committee. In addition, in the event of a crisis such as a disaster or accident, the company has established a response system and rules for the rapid dissemination of information at the crisis response headquarters, and the headquarters conducts training every year to confirm and master the response procedures.
By prevent or minimize the occurrence of losses in the management of the Fujikura Group, we will build a foundation for sustainable, healthy growth and maintain and increase our corporate value.
Risk Management System
Specifically, based on the PDCA cycle of risk management activities,

In addition, risk management committee held two meetings in fiscal year 2025 to set annual targets for each company-wide critical risk and to conduct monitoring and other related activities.
Information Security Measures
Fujikura recognizes that security is one of the most important aspects of business activities. In order to properly protect all information assets handled by Fujikura Group, we establishment the "Electronic Information Security basic policy" in 2005.
By continuously disseminating and thoroughly complying with these measures, we will continue to steadily implement and establish information asset management and further strengthen information security promotion activities through information security education, and strive to raise the level of information security, ensuring the safety of all information assets handled by the Fujikura Group and aiming to be a corporate group trusted by society.
Fujikura Group Electronic Information Security committee continuously raises employee security awareness and harm prevention activities.
Fujikura Ltd. and Fujikura Group (hereinafter referred to as Fujikura) will work on information security company-wide based on the following policy to protect Fujikura information assets from threats such as accidents, disasters, and crimes, and to live up to the trust of our customers and society.
