Environment and Energy Laboratory

The 21st century is said to be the century of the environment and energy. The development of new technology in environmental and energy fields is becoming more important for the preservation and evolution of a sustainable harmonic relationship between the global environment and human society. And it is one of the missions of a manufacturing company. The Environment and Energy Laboratory is working on research and development in this field. In the wire and cable domain, we have been responding to the needs of the times with various technological innovations on traditional techniques. Developments in recent years have included lead-free and halogen-free additives, RoHS/REACH compliant materials, flame retardants, small diameter cables, and high-speed transmission cables. In addition, plowing ahead in the areas of dye-sensitized solar cells and functional single crystals, we lead the world in energy saving and renewable energy and are tackling the development of human- and earth-friendly technology.

Environment and Analysis Center

The Environment and Analysis Center supports R&D and manufacturing fields actively by providing accurate and reliable data, by analyzing from every conceivable angle metals, polymers, ceramics and semiconductors that are the foundation materials of Fujikura business.
