Fujikura Exhibits at CeBIT2017 (International Information and Technology Exhibition)

March 28, 2017

Fujikura Ltd. (President & CEO: Masahiko Ito) exhibited at CeBIT2017, which was held at the Hannover Exhibition Grounds in Germany from March 20 to 24, 2017. With Japan featured as this year's official partner country, Fujikura was among the 118 companies that exhibited at the Japan Pavilion, which was hosted by the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO). Japan's Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and Germany's Chancellor Angela Merkel delivered an address at the opening ceremony and reception, and the President of Fujikura was chosen as one of the representatives of exhibitors invited to join Japanese and German government officials when their photographs were taken prior to the opening of the event.

Fujikura worked with Fujikura Europe Ltd., Fujikura Automotive Europe GmbH, and Fibre Fab Limited to exhibit solutions rather than products with "Tsunagu (connect)" as their keyword, emphasizing that the Fujikura Group's technology contributed to the IT society. During the five-day exhibition period, some 3,500 attendees visited Fujikura's booth and the booth personnel really felt the attendees' expectations for the Fujikura Group's products and solutions. In the future, Fujikura will grasp the needs of customers even more quickly and use them to further effective business development.
