On November 2, 2015, Fujikura Ltd. (President & CEO: Yoichi Nagahama) established "Fujikura Cube Ltd." to employ persons with disabilities. It will start its operation with approximately 10 employees at Sakura Works (Sakura-shi, Chiba) from April, 2016, and will run with a view to gain approval as a special subsidiary.

Fujikura Cube Ltd. will engage in greening of the factory, environmental protection, environmental measurement both inside and outside the buildings, inspection, cleaning, maintenance of various equipment and other operations at Sakura Works. In five years, it will increase the number of its employees to approximately 30, and expand its business to printing, photocopying, binding printed materials and printing business cards of Fujikura group to contribute to the group's operation streamlining. Fujikura group will continue to actively promote the employment of persons with disabilities and aim to be a group where anyone can play an active role.
