Fujikura Concludes FTTH MOU with PT
Telekom, Indonesia

Fujikura is pleased to announce that it has concluded a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) concerning supplying Fiber To The Home (FTTH) equipment and relevant advice to PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (hereafter, PT Telekom).

PT Telekom is planning to replace their existing networks with Next Generation Networks (NGNs) capable of supplying high quality multimedia services, based on the country's INSYNC 2014 program.

The MOU concluded between Fujikura and PT Telekom concerns the system planning and deployment of FTTH, the core technology of the project, and aims at the smooth implementation of FTTH startup through regular technology exchange and information sharing.

The initial task following this MOU is a pilot FTTH system project in Jakarta being undertaken by Access Division of PT Telekom utilizing Fujikura's products.

Fujikura hopes that our cutting-edge FTTH equipment will accelerate the construction of optical access networks in the rapidly developing country of Indonesia.
