Fujikura's 120th Anniversary Commemorating Project : Construction of "The Main Building & the Building"

Main Building

In 2005, we made a donation to the "Oshima Fujikura Gakuen" in Izu Oshima as part of 120th anniversary projects, in the understanding the money would be used for the re-construction of the memorial building, construction of the building for self-support training, upgrading of the incoming power facility and other projects.

The "Main Building & the Building for Self-Support" were constructed using these donated funds, and the completion ceremony was held in the auditorium of the Main Building on June 17, 2007.

There was much regret that the old buildings of the facility, buildings that were constructed in the classical Taisho (1912 to 1926) style, would be pulled down, but the buildings were in fact revived almost to what they had been.

"The Main Building & Building for Self-Support" are now bright and breezy buildings that help students to relax when training.
