Digital terrestrial broadcasting started in December 2003 and has gradually expanded over a wider area. In addition, digital terrestrial broadcasting for mobile phones and other mobile equipment (one-segment broadcasting) began in April 2006, and at present it is possible to use various types of content with mobile phones.
In the future, when digital terrestrial broadcasting and one-segment broadcasting have disseminated further, it is expected that dead zones will be exposed, at locations such as underground malls, large buildings, and subways. Therefore, Fujikura has developed a leaky coaxial cable compatible with digital terrestrial broadcasting. |
